Salvé Black

Salvé Black grew up in Atlanta, GA, and has loved art and animation since first watching Lilo and Stitch (2002) at the age of 5. Dedicating all of her childhood free time to drawing, Salvé enrolled in the Visual Arts Magnet Program at Tri-Cities High School, dually enrolled at Georgia Military College while in high school, and later earned her BFA in Animation at the Savannah College of Art and Design.

At SCAD, Salvé had the incredible honor to learn directly from seasoned animators, some of whom even worked on Lilo and Stitch (2002.) Crazy, right? She graduated from SCAD in 2021, Magna Cum Laude.

Professionally, Salvé has worked on animated music videos, children's' shows, several award-winning short films, and helped to develop numerous pitches. Notable projects include the IceDick (JD Cassis and Josh Nova) music video, her concept and storyboarding work for Sesame Workshop, and her continued work on the Tuttle Twins animated series.

Regarding what Salvé likes to work on, she pretty much likes it all. As long as the piece is fun, entertaining, or impactful, Salvé will be more than happy to help make it happen. She is proud to be a part of Daboiis House, and is pumped to bring her knowledge of animation to more exciting projects.
